Micheal L. "Mike" DeBusk, 60, of Sixth Street, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at his home.

Mike was an employee of Kramer Furniture and did custom cabinetry work. He was a veteran of the Army, an avid Colts fan and loved fishing and woodworking.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Greene officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 6100 West 96th Street, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46278-6005, or the charity of the donor's choice

Born Aug. 11, 1952, in Greensburg, Micheal was the son of  Don DeBusk and Lois Oliver Snodderly.

Survivors include sons, Eric DeBusk and Jake DeBusk, both of Columbus, IN; a daughter, Traci (Chris) Simpson, Columbus, IN; he was like a father to Rachel and Christina Wagner, both of Columbus, IN; his longtime companion, Tammie Wagner, Columbus, IN; brothers, Scott (Donna) DeBusk of Hartsville, Donnie DeBusk of Michigan, David (Nancy) DeBusk of Hartsville, DeJon (Rosa) Snodderly of North Vernon and DeWayne (Patty) Snodderly of North Vernon; sisters, Kathy Noblitt of North Vernon, Flo Snodderly of North Vernon,  Kathy (Jeff) Dolan of Columbus, IN, and Nyoka King of Columbus, IN; and grandchildren, Brandon and Ciera Simpson of Columbus, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Kloss; and his stepmother, Wanda DeBusk.
