Hortense "Tenzie" Mace, 88, of Taylorsville, died at 10:53 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Tenzie was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and retired from McDonald's in 1993.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Mark Teike officiating.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Just Friends Adult Day Services.

Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, on June 28, 1924, Tenzie was the daughter of George and Katherine Petrilla Siculan.

She married Earl Mace on November 10, 1956. He preceded her in death on November 26, 1992.

Survivors include her daughter, Janet Mace-Sublette of Taylorsville; a brother, Dan (Thelma) Siculan of Chicago; and grandsons, Justin and Chris Sublette, both of Taylorsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Earl Mace; and four brothers.
