Mrs. Lois P. Lambert, 86, of Greenwood, died on September 28, 2012, at the Masonic Home. She was born in Indianapolis on April 20, 1926, a daughter of Charles E. and Alice Pauline (Brown) Cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Merritt (Russell) and Sherry Jordan; three grandchildren, Robert and Brett Merritt and Russ Jordan; and six great-grandchildren, John, Rachel, Grace, Samuel, Eli and Pheobe.
Lois enjoyed making afghans for her family and was an excellent cook and baker.
A funeral service will be on Monday, October 1, 2012, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, at 10:00 a.m. The visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery. Russ Jordan will officiate the service.
