Bobby Joe Burton, 78, of Edinburgh, died at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Johnson Memorial Hospital emergency room in Franklin.
In keeping with Mr. Burton's wishes, cremation is planned.
There will be no services.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
Survivors include children, Tommy Lee (Karen) Burton of Old Town, Fla., Dana Louis (Janis) Burton of Gulf Port, Fla., Robert Lee (Kim) Burton of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Doris Marie Burton of Hot Springs, Az.; a step-daughter, Joyce Frost of Edinburgh; sisters, Alma (Junior) Walls of Columbus and Elsie (Elmer) Burton of Columbia, Ky.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Burton was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Sue Burton Pickelman.
