Virginia Lee "Ginger" Jorgensen, 57, of Madison, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at her home.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lytle Funeral Chapel in Madison. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery.
Mrs. Jorgensen is survived by her husband, William Dennis Jorgensen; her parents, Gordon and Maureen Glesner Dyer of Battle Creek, Mich.; daughters, Lauren Pontoni of Sanford, Fla., and Lacy Hopkins of Columbus; sons, Brett Gardner and Dustin Hopkins, both of Columbus; stepdaughters, Kimberly Burke of Salt Lake City and Colleen Widemon of Crossville, Tenn.; a stepson, Michael Jorgensen of Phoenix; a sister, Linda Smith of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a half brother, John Dyer of Detroit; a half sister, Peggie Wilson of Virginia; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
