Juanita B. Lykins, 84, of Edinburgh, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at her home.
Mrs. Lykins retired from Columbus Regional Hospital where she was a dietary supervisor.
In accordance with Juanita's wishes, cremation is planned. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
Born in Gray, Ky., Feb. 4, 1928, Mrs. Lykins was the daughter of Shelby Hopkins and Ellen A. Durham Hopkins.
She was the widow of Glenn Oldham, who died in 1985, and Lloyd Earl Lykins, who died in 2006.
Survivors include a daughter, Camargo (Jerry) Smith of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Katie Collier and Kyle Smith; great-grandchildren, Taylor Collier, Kaylee Collier, Nicholas Collier, Tyler Swardson and Adyson Smith; a brother, Earl (Ruth) Hopkins of North Vernon; and a sister, Shelby Jean (Paul) Boaz of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Louis P. Hopkins and Benny Ray Hopkins; and sisters, Vincinta Loomis and Lottie Gosch.
