Ilene N. Pogue, 93, of Brownstown, died at 3:22 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Spurgeon Funeral Home in Brownstown. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Smallwood Cemetery at Brownstown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charities.
Mrs. Pogue is survived by four sons, Larry (Barb) Pogue of Greenwood, Jim (Margy) Pogue of Vallonia, Allen Pogue of Medora and Robert Pogue of Brownstown; a daughter, Reva (Jim) Nichols of Freetown; a brother, J.R. "Jude" Porch of Pittsboro; a sister, Stella Sparks of Pittsboro; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Pogue.
