Denver Edwards, 87, of Freetown, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Myrtle Marie Charles Edwards; two sons, Denver (Laura) Edwards Jr. of Freetown and Mark Allen (Debbie) Edwards of Clearspring; three daughters, Hazel Marie Wilson of Seymour, Donna Lynn Horn of Brownstown and Kathy Jo (Robert) Stout of Seymour; a sister, Inez Barrett of Bedford; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kurtz Church of the Nazarene with Floyd Fisher officiating. Calling will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday. Cremation was planned and burial will be at a later date
Arrangements were made by Woodlawn Freetown Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses through the funeral home.
