Mary Rose Fahn May, 84, of Columbus, died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. May was a healthcare provider, working at Four Seasons and Columbus Community Care and in private residences. She had been a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella since 1980.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Clem Davis. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.

Born in Chicago Nov. 25, 1927, Mrs. May was the daughter of Charles and Shirley Schmid Fahn. She married Richard William May, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Rick (Lynnette) May of Columbus, Larry (Cindy) May of Brandon, FL, and John (Donna) May of Benton, LA; grandchildren, Michael (Cindyanne) May, Colleen (Roger) Hughes, Matthew (April) May, all of Columbus, and Mary L. (Bill) Bretherton, Joseph, Ashley, Tina and Steven May, all of Benton, LA; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a granddaughter.
