Mike Mount, 74, of South Sprague Road, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mike retired from Cummins Engine Company as Director of Service Engineering B & C Series. He also was owner of Mount Trucking and Real World Testing and a member of First Christian Church, the Elks and Moose lodges, Sanibel Captiva U.S. Power Squadron and Harrison Lake Country Club.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Justin White officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Spencer, Indiana, on September 11, 1938, Mike was the son of Alva L. and Euna Thomas Mount.
He married Donna R. Day on September 11, 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Mount; children, April (David) Gray and Crystal (Steve) LaRue, both of Columbus; a twin sister, Myrtle (Kirby) Frazier of Columbus; grandchildren, Shelby Wilson of Columbus, Jacob Gray of Columbus, Private First Class Brant LaRue of California and Joshua Gray of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Kirby Allen (Karen) Frazier, Linda Blaubelt, Sgt. Major Terry (Angie) Schneider, Darby (Kelli) Perkinson, Darcy Wasmuth and Dustin (Helen) Perkinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Alva Willie Mount; a sister, Ruth Whitis; and sons, Gary and Steve Mount.
