Donald “Don” Gilpin, 64, of Seymour, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Tomalene Kay Mikel Gilpin; his mother and stepfather, Priscilla Mills Brown and Ray Brown; his children, Cheyenne (Paul Sullivan) Gilpin and Tammy (Rob) Loyd; stepchildren, Kim (Brian) Cox and Gary Weller;two grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; half brothers, Gary Brown, Mike Brown and Bradley Gilpin; and a sister, Alma Crockett.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Gilpin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel in Seymour with Pastor Gary Dyer officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson County Humane Society or COPD Research.
