Mary A. Stogdill Long, 76, of Freetown, died Thursday morning, Nov. 15, 2012, at the Indiana University Hospital Morgan in Martinsville.
Mrs. Long is survived by two daughters, Janet A. Long of Freetown and Sally R. Richardson of Bloomington; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Betty Reynolds of Greenfield, Lou Ella Stogdill and Sarah Mullis, both of Bloomington, Lloyd Stogdill of Freetown, James “Bud” Stogdill of Nineveh, Joseph Stogdill of Greenwood and Samuel Stogdill of Franklin.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon Monday at the Country-Gospel Music Church, 5181 E. State Road 46 in Gnaw Bone, with the Rev. Jim Ackerman officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Burial will be at Houston Cemetery in Jackson County.
Funeral arrangements were made by Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, South Central Chapter, P.O. Box 547, Columbus, IN 47202.
