Martha Marie Mace Kinsey, 90, of Columbus, died at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Martha was born in Jennings County on February 10, 1922, to the late James H. and Ida Whitehead Mace. She married Clifford E. "Jake" Kinsey, son of William and Hattie Brooks Kinsey, on February 1, 1941
Martha worked at Buchanan and Sons Furniture Store for eighteen years and at Cummins Engine Company until she retired in 1987. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Waymansville, several bridge clubs and the Senior Center.
Martha enjoyed working in her flower garden and reading. She was very appreciative of the Bookmobile.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Reverend John Beabout officiating.
Family and friends may view from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church in Waymansville.

Martha is survived by her five sons, Sherrill D. Kinsey of Greenfield, Stephen W. Kinsey of Clearwater, FL, Rex Kinsey of Seymour, Alan Kinsey of Grammar, and Delbert Kinsey of Columbus; 15 grandchildren, Greg Duke, Deborah Rogers, Michael Duke, James Duke, Jeffrey Kinsey, Daniel Kinsey, Julie Stoeffler, Mark Kinsey, Angel Kinsey, Anthony Kinsey, Kimberley Pennington, Clifford Kinsey, Kelly Armstrong, Jason Kinsey and Amanda Hunter; 41 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Jacqueline Duke; son-in-law, Duane Duke; great-granddaughter, Hope Kinsey; six brothers, Harold Mace, William Mace, Kenneth Mace, Thomas Mace (infant), Robert Mace and John Mace; and four sisters, Hannah McGee, Catherine Mace (infant), Thelma Stone and Melba Bonsett.
