Mabel L. Flach, 58, ,formerly of Marion, Ohio, died at 1:15 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2012 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mabel was born in Marion, Ohio, January 22, 1954, to the late Herbert and Eileen Blankenship Burke. She grew up in Marion, Ohio, and worked at Banko Grill for seven years and various places in Marion. Mabel had a son in 1971, Paul William Foster. She married Jay Flach from Green Camp, Ohio, on September 3, 1982. Mabel and Jay moved to Columbus in 1987. She worked at Flambau Plastics in Columbus and as a bartender for Moose Lodge #398 for six years after Jay became administrator of the lodge.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Ladies of the Moose and Ken Dibble officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date in Marion, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Moose Charities Endowment Fund.

Mabel is survived by her husband, Jay Flach; sons, Paul W. (Nikki) Foster of North Vernon, Mike Flach of Green Camp, Ohio, Shaun (Cindy) Flach Arlington, Texas, Chris (Lori) Flach and Keith Flach, both of Green Camp, Ohio; seven grandchildren, soon to be eight; three great-grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Donna Flach of Richwood, Ohio; three brothers, Herb Burke Houston, Texas, Larry Burke of Florida, and Fred Burke of Kansas; five sisters, Judy Lobb, Janice Williams, and Marjorie (Dick) Bolton, all of Marion, Ohio, Velma Gilley of Florida, and Becky (Bill) Winn of Dallas, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Flach; and a sister, Virginia Burke.
