Blanca Isabel Handt, 58, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, Nov. 17, 2012, at her home.
Blanca had been employed by Buffalo Wild Wings and Subway. She enjoyed country music, fishing, motorcycling, baseball, shopping, attending festivals and the functions at the American Legion and Moose.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Clem Davis Friday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Calling will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street and one hour prior to the Mass on Friday at the church.
In keeping with Blanca’s wishes, cremation is planned.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church or the donor’s choice of charities.

Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, July 8, 1954, Blanca was the daughter of Felisa and Bernardino Santos. She married Norman Handt Jan. 15, 1999, in Columbus.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Claudia (Roly) Davila and Ivonne (Francisco Romero) Caceres, and a son, Allan (Tabitha) Caceres, all of Guatemala; stepchildren, Linda Sneed, Sandy (Scott) Allman and Barbara Handt, all of Columbus, Teresa Handt of Indianapolis, Leon (Cindy) Handt of Argyle, TX, and Ken (Ashley) Handt of Newnan, GA; her father, Bernardino Santos of Guatemala; brothers and sisters, Amparo, Gloria, Eddie, Anibal, Rodolfo, Olympia, Nino and Maryflor; and 15 grandchildren.
