Richard “Dick” “Papasan” Stamm, 81, of Nashville, died Saturday afternoon, Nov. 24, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Stamm is survived by his wife, B. Jean “Jeannie” Stamm; five daughters, Becky (Ron) Ploski of Dayton, Ohio, Melia (Gary) Mendenhall of Union, Ohio, Rovilla Borenstein of Union, Ohio, Stacy (Frank) Clay of Carlisle, Ohio, and Susan (John) Coughnour of Dayton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Betsy; and two brothers, Dave and Bob.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Haas Stamm, and an infant daughter, Barbara Stamm.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Nashville with the Brown County Lions Club and the Rev. Fred Haywood officiating. Calling will be from 3 p.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church in Nashville or to the American Cancer Society.
