Elisha Harlan Layman, 79, of Commiskey, died at 1 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.
Mr. Layman is survived by his wife, Mary Reece Layman; two daughters, Linda (Wayne) Napier of Manchester, Ky., and Lila (Chris) Torp of Lebanon; and four grandchildren.
In keeping with Mr. Layman's wishes, no services are planned.
Arrangements were made by Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Edna Martin Christian Center in Indianapolis.
