Gary Dean Bryant II, 43, of Westridge Drive, died at 1 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012, in Tennessee.
He was born in Seymour, February 5, 1969, the son of the late Gary Dean Bryant and Sandra Shinolt Weintraut of Elizabethtown.
Gary married Sonja Hubbard on August 20, 2005, and she survives.
Gary loved his job as a truck driver for Con-Way Freight. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles, often helping many of his friends without asking for payment. He was a member of American Legion Post #89 in Seymour, the Legion Riders, as well as ABATE. Gary loved riding his Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic, especially going on rides with his wife.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Sonja Michelle Moore of New Castle; a step-son, Harley N. King of Columbus; step-daughters, Nichole Taylor of North Vernon and Karen Taylor of Columbus; uncles, Clifford E. "Shag" Shinolt of Scipio, and Ivan Shinolt of Elizabethtown; his father-in-law, Ron Hubbard of North Vernon; a nephew, Dillon Moore; and a niece, Felisha Moore.
He was preceded in death by his father and his mother-in-law, Karen Barrett; and his step-father, David Weintraut.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Mona Safley officiating.
Calling will be from 4 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gary Dean Bryant II Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
