Edward Bowyer Minnick, 92, of North Vernon, died at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mr. Minnick is survived by four sons, Brent (Jeri) Minnick of North Vernon, Edward A. (Pat) Minnick of Goshen, David (Ellen) Minnick of Sinton, Texas, and Gary (Sharon) Minnick of Montevallo, Ala.; three daughters, Loretta Varney of Eaton, Ohio, Dr. Marsha (Mick) Vedova, of Webster Groves, Mo., and Annette (Rodney Holmes) Minnick of North Vernon; one brother, Albert (Gail) Minnick of North Vernon; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma "Rose" Siferd Minnick, and a son, John Edward Minnick.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at Camden Methodist Church, 100 S. Lafayette St., Camden, Ohio. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Gideon’s Bible Program or North Vernon Church of Christ.
