Laura Ann Stilwell, 87, of Freetown, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012, at 8:40 a.m. at the Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown.
Laura Ann was a member of Freetown United Methodist Church and at one time worked at Arvin Industries.
Born May 27, 1925, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of Ralph and Clarice (Braden) Stilwell.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, John Scott, Jerry Scott, Jim Scott, Jan Scott and Jill Swider; and great-nieces and nephews, Jeremy Scott, Mike Scott, Jared Scott, Jenniffer Girth, Jamie Swider and Laura Buttons.
Laura Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Sue Hedrick.
Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown and after noon on Wedesnday. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with David Ison officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown.
