David R. Hadley, 75, of South Sprague Road, died at 6:01 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Brown County Health & Living Community.
Mr. Hadley was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired farmer.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with the Rev. Roger Walby officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service Saturday. Burial will be at Ohio Chapel Cemetery with military rites conducted by Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard.

Born in Bartholomew County September 27, 1937, Mr. Hadley was the son of Morris and Wanna Stearman Hadley.
Survivors include his sons, J.D. (Gail) Hadley of Columbus and Reece (Tammy) Hadley of Mount Washington, KY; grandchildren, Dalton and Dylan Hadley of Columbus; stepgrandchildren, Leslie and Leighann Goodwin of Mount Washington, KY; brothers, Jim (Annalee) Hadley of Columbus and Dewey "Bob" Hadley of Columbus; and sisters, Dorothy Beaver of Columbus and Barbara (Dave) Baker of Texas.
Mr. Hadley was preceded in death by his parents.
