George Lee Underwood, 70, of Vallonia, died at 12:08 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryle Temple Underwood; children, Michael (Darci) Underwood of Salem, Greg (Regina) Underwood of Vallonia, Scoey (Amy Shaw) Underwood of Brownstown, and Jeremy (Gloria Rickey) Underwood of Vallonia; one sister: Betty Londot of Brownstown; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11a.m. Saturday at Faith Southern Baptist Church with Greg Underwood officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home in Vallonia and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at White River Valley Cemetery.
