Mary Maxine Blythe, 89, of Bedford, died at 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Born January 6, 1923 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Lester Watson and Laura Mae Cambron Terrell. She married Robert L. Blythe on October 14, 1942 and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2012.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Lee Blythe and wife, Susan of Oolitic; a daughter, Patricia Ann Clark, who shares her mother’s birthday and husband, Richard of Columbus; four grandchildren, Gary Clark and wife, Michele, Matthew Clark and wife, Laura, Michelle Spear and husband, Gary, Kortni Canada and husband, Matthew; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister, Roseanne Hobert of Port Charlotte, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Robert Wayne Terrell and granddaughter, Sondra Kay Clark.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11a.m. on Friday, December 28th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Gary Spear officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
