Joyce Marsalie Purnell, 89, of Butlerville, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at her son's home in Butlerville.
She is survived by sons, Gary Purnell of Butlerville and Richard (Marguerite) Purnell of North Vernon; daughters, Patricia (Howard ) Taylor of Stanford and Elizabeth Purnell of Scottsburg; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at noon Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Hearne officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice of Jennings County.
