Hubert Franklin Hackman, 78, of Seymour, died at 10:22 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Reynolds Hackman; sons, Mark (Laura) Hackman of Seymour, Greg Hackman of Seymour, and Brian (Lora) Hackman of Brownstown; daughters, Julia Pranger of Seymour and Susan (Greg) Zabor or Seymour; brothers, Omer (Alvona) Hackman of Brownstown, William (Sandy) Hackman of Seymour, and Leon (Becky) Hackman of Brownstown; a sister, Lois (Barry) Sommers of Brownstown; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sauers with Pastor Craig Muhlbach officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sauers cemetery.
Calling will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., in Brownstown, and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
