Leonard R. Wells, 73 of Elizabethtown died Friday December 28, 2012 at Kindred Health and Rehab in Columbus.
He was a retired mechanic. He loved to fish, watch western movies and do gardening.
The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor David Douglas officiating. Calling will be Monday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery.
Born September 14, 1939 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Leonard was the son of Henry and Ruby Scott Wells. They preceded him in death.
Survivors include; sons, Barry (Mary) Wells of Marceline, Mo., Kerry Wells of Carrollton, Mo., and Leonard (Roberta) Wells Jr. of Carrollton, Mo.; stepsons, Kelly Wells of Carrollton, Mo. and Willie Brewer of Chillicothe, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Christinia Bledsoe of Palm Springs, Calif.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Jewell (David) Ciesiolka of Taylorsville, Corine Anderson of Westport, Wilma (Bill) Beggs of North Vernon and Debby (Bill) Bowman of Scipio; brothers, Junior Wells of Westport, Michael Wells of Elizabethtown and Timmy (Debbie) Wells of Uniontown.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Jeremy Wells and a brother Dale Wells.
