Roberta Powers, 66, of Greensburg, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
She is survived by daughters, Carla (Jeff) Wright of North Vernon, and Wanda Ashman (Fred Hartman) of Austin; sisters, Ruby Baker of Birmingham, Ala., Rosie Shanks of Fort Pierce, Fla., Ramona Kennedy of Greensburg, and Cathy Morrow of North Vernon; brothers, Earl Shanks and Buck Shanks, both of Birmingham, Ala.; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughters, Lisa Ann Kennedy Lankford and Donna Kennedy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Creech and the Rev. Ross Wright officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Aerie Cemetery in Letts. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Heart Association through the funeral home.
