Carl Brewer, 87, of Seymour, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the VA Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Survivors include his children, Terri Ann Brewer of Columbus and Carl Mark Brewer of Seymour; and three sisters, Violet (James) Ozbun of Seymour, Irene Silence of Brownstown and Louisa Jackson of Medora.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Dixon Brewer; and a daughter, Rita Kay Brewer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel in Seymour with the Rev. Keith Ross officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Burial will be at Dixon Chapel Proctor Cemetery.
