Michael Ferrenburg, 67, of Woodlane Drive, died at 5:24 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mr. Ferrenburg was owner of Mike's Body Shop and a lifetime member of Columbus Township Fire Department, serving as the department's photographer. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American Legion and attended Bethel Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Charles Wright officiating. Family and friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Indianapolis December 18, 1945, Mr. Ferrenburg was the son of Samuel and Elsie Whittington Ferrenburg. He married Jeanette A. England May 4, 1968.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Richard (Nora) Ferrenburg and Rodney (Briana) Ferrenburg, both of Columbus; a sister, Carol (Dean) Gearhart of Columbus; grandchildren, Gabrielle Ferrenburg, Samuel Ferrenburg, Zachary Ferrenburg, Joshua (Natalie) Ferrenburg, Cody Adams, Nicholas Adams and Joshua (Heather) Adams; and great-grandchildren, Alison Ferrenburg, Annaston Ferrenburg, Lane Adams, Emily Adams and Brianna Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl Whittington and Kenneth, Lawrence and George Ferrenburg; and a sister, Karen Sidwell.
