Donald Lee Denson Sr., 67, of Nineveh, died at 7:38 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Whosoever Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower Drive in Edinburgh, with the Revs. Lewis Burton and Larry Biddle officiating. Calling will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home.
Mr. Denson is survived by his mother, Lilian Alstott Sewell of Edinburgh; his wife, Wanda Fluharty Denson; sons, Donald Lee (Shaune Gay) Denson Jr. of Nineveh, Ronald Dale (Lisa) Denson of Edinburgh, David Wayne Denson of Columbus, Billy Ray Denson of Plainfield and Jess Edwin Briney of Iowa; daughters, Melissa Jane (Donnie) Briney of Iowa, Karen Lee Devla of Edinburgh and Pamela Denice (Tom) McFaran of Columbus; a brother, Ronnie Dale (Susan) Denson of Edinburgh; sisters, Ladena Mae (Fenton) Tungett of Edinburgh and Norma Jean (Jim) Merchant of Franklin; his stepfather, Bill Sewell of Edinburgh; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
