Robert Jefferson Russ, 69, of North Vernon, died at 6:17 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
He is survived by his children, Robert (Tammy) Russ and Geneva (Phillip) Maloy, both of North Vernon; three sisters, Julia (David) Lambert of North Vernon, Emma Jean Fugate of Burlington, Ky., and Rosemary Wilder of Florence, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Russ.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Edward Wooddell officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through Dove-Sharp & Rudicel for funeral expenses.
