Phyllis Marie Tarter, 58, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at her daughter's residence in Willisburg, Ky. She was born in Washington C.H., Ohio, Jan. 30, 1954, the daughter of Lewis and Mary (Leming) Irvin.
Mrs. Tarter was a retired food service manager.
She is survived by four daughters, Diana (Noah) Jacobs of Columbus, Ind., Christina Hernandez and Tiffany Tarter of Clarksville, Ind., and Debbie Woodford of Willisburg, Ky.; a son, David Tackett; a sister, Rebecca Harris; brothers, William and John Irvin; 12 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bryan, her parents, and a brother, Arthur.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Powers Funeral Home in Jamestown, Ohio, where friends may call Thursday from noon until time of service. Burial will be in the Silvercreek Cemetery.
