Mrs. Anna E. Setser, 89,  of Salem passed away Friday, Janaury 18 at 2:33 a.m. at Meadow View Health Care and Rehab.

Mrs. Setser was born April 26, 1933 in Livonia, the daughter of Wesley Russell and Rosetta Mulvany Durnil.

She was a homemaker and a member of Campbellsburg Christian Church and Rebekah Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband,Jesse Setser on February 11, 1994;  her former spouse,  Bennie Smith on October 27,1977; two sons,  Jerry and Billy Smith; six brothers,  Carl, Darrell, William Russell, Wesley Leroy, Louis and Morris Durnil;  six sisters,  Wilma Crowder, Dorothy Lyons, Doris Durnil, Linda Durnil, Edith Clark and Ruby Sutton and her parents.

She is survived by a son,  Jeffery Smith of Jerseyville, Illinois; two daughters,  Carolyn Burton of Columbus and Shirley Bush of Salem; a stepdaughter,  Sarah Ann McClure of New Whiteland;  four brothers, Clyde Durnil of Milford, Ohio, Jack Durnil of Crawfordsville, Marvin Durnil of Evansville and Michael Durnil of Kansas; a sister, Hazel Moore of Princeton, seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be  at 11 a.m. Monday at Campbellsburg Christian Church.  Burial will follow in Hop Cemetery.  Calling will be Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Weathers Funeral Home in Salem and Monday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.
