Daryl L. Burton, 53, of Rocky Ford Road, passed from this life at 12:35 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Daryl was a member of First Baptist Church in Taylorsville.
He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed country music, old time TV shows and attending Just Friends Day Care.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Tom Collett officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Just Friends Adult Day Services.

Born in Columbus March 2, 1959, Daryl was the son of Herman Lee and Betty Fay Renner Burton.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Herman and Roberta Burton of Columbus; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Ronald Robbins of Columbus; a brother, Timothy Mourey of Columbus; a sister-in-law, Kimberly Moore of Columbus; a half brother, Ramey Burton of Columbus; stepbrothers, Robert Mourey of Columbus and Bob (Charlotte) Minor of Westport; aunts and uncles, Harold and Jeannie Burton of Columbus and Delores Hilderbrand of Columbus; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Daryl was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Gladys Burton, Marie Zeigler and Robert Renner; and an uncle, Troy Burton.
