Dorothy June Watson Dick, 88, passed away at Willow Crossing in Columbus, on Thursday January 17, 2013. She was born February 9, 1924 in Lawrence County, Indiana to Noble and Bernice (Ward) Watson.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Edwin Keith (Lillian) Dick of Columbus, James Steven (Brenda) Dick of Englewood, Florida; four granddaughters, Melissa Wagner of Columbus, Kelly (Jeremy) Stephens of Columbus, Angela (Bryan) Ramsden of Englewood, Florida, Jennifer Harms of Englewood, Florida; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Watson of Clearwater, Florida.
Dorothy was preceded in death by husband, Edwin Dick, parents, one infant son, five brothers and three sisters.
She retired from the Monroe County Department of Health, was a member of both the Free Methodist Church and Clear Creek Church Service Group.
Funeral services for Dorothy will be conducted Tuesday January 22, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 South Old Highway 37. Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be the same day, Tuesday January 22, 2013 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home.
