Tomy J. Bozell, 76, of Fishers, formerly of Columbus, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at her home.
A 1954 graduate of Columbus High School, Mrs. Bozell was a medical secretary at Bedford Medical Center and later worked for Champus in Columbus. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Chaplin Rob Mifflin officiating. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Community Home Health Services, 9894 E. 121st St., Fishers, IN 46037. Cards are available at the funeral home.

Born in Columbus February 10, 1936, Mrs. Bozell was the daughter of Jeffrey and Kathryn Wells VanNorman. She married William P. Bozell November 14, 1964.
Survivors include her husband; children, William David (Wayde) Turney-Bozell of Carmel, Kim Johnson of Indianapolis and John Kevin (Suanne) VanWay of Arlington, WA; grandchildren, Alicia Williams of Tucson, AZ, Nicholas VanWay of Arlington, WA, and Talulah Turney-Bozell of Carmel; great-grandchildren, Shayla Grant and Jace Williams, both of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Nancy (Mike) Greenlee of Columbus, Virginia Dooley of Columbus and Deborah (Bobby) Leahy of Bedford; several nieces and nephews; and her special friend, her dog Tygre.
Mrs. Bozell was preceded in death her parents; a brother, Robert VanNorman; and a brother-in-law, Dan Dooley.
