Julie R. Burton, 53, of Cardinal Lane, died at 11:25 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at her home.
Julie was born in Ft. Myers, Fla. to the late Louie Zolton and Janet Brown Arledge. She married Michael D. Burton Sr. on February 16, 1991 in Columbus. Julie was a former employee of Miller's Merry Manor in Hope. She enjoyed traveling, Colts football, wrestling and spending time with her family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Wayne Lee officiating.
Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Julie is survived by her husband; children, Joey (Amanda) Zolton of Hope, Stephanie Minor of Columbus, Natosha (Jeremiah) Burton of Taylorsville, Tammy (Mike) McDaniel of Greensburg, Michael (Vickie) Burton of Columbus, Spencer Walker of Taylorsville and Kyle Nottingham of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Johnny Zolton of North Vernon; sisters, Debbie (Jim) Noel of Elizabethtown and Diane Hebert of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
