Robert Bott, 72, of North Vernon, died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon.
He is survived by his wife, Malinda Pitts Wright Bott; two stepsons, the Rev. Lewis (Karen) Wright of Seymour and Mayor Dan (Linda) Wright of Vernon; four brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Bott and Joseph (Mary) Bott, both of North Vernon, John (Rita) Bott of Scipio and Leo (Doris) Bott of Carrollton, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in North Vernon with the Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, with a rosary service conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County or Shaw High School in Madison.
