Marlon J. Hamm, 55, of Indiana Avenue, died at 7:56 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at the Columbus Regional Hospital Emergency Room.
Marlon retired from Ron Jon Surf Shop.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Larry Coon officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born in Columbus, September 9, 1957, Marlon was the son of Billy J. and Frances M. Killen Hamm.
Survivors include his mother, Frances M. Hamm of Columbus; a daughter, Amy Lackey of Columbus; a son, Marlon J. Cowan of Columbus; brothers, Donald R. Hamm of Columbus, Calvin J. (Sue) Hamm of Colorado and Greg Hamm of Columbus; a sister Phyllis D. Garrett of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and his companion, Tina Stewart of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy J. Hamm, and a brother, Herb Hamm.
