Nancy Isabelle Glick was born in Shelby County, Indiana, on March 9, 1924. She entered Heaven's gate January 30, 2013.

Nancy married John W. Glick on December 24, 1942. John preceded Nancy in death January 4, 2001.

She spent her life taking care of family, neighbors, and friends in need. She was a consummate mother and homemaker. Nancy was a fantastic cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Her children and grandchildren loved visiting her on the family farm and will treasure those memories always.

Nancy had an unwavering faith in God. She attended Flat Rock Christian Church. She was the embodiment of being a true Christian and never had an unkind word to say of anyone. Over the years, she was very involved in the church and assisted when able. She loved life and had many interests that ranged from listening to baseball games and attending sporting events to traveling with her daughters and girlfriends to creatively crocheting gifts for loved ones.

Nancy was the beloved daughter of Walter and Jesse Hill. Nancy's survivors include her children, Lizabeth (Beth) Glick Carmichael of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Lloyd Glick of Quincy, IL, and Sandy Glick of Sawyer, Michigan; her sons-in-law, Bob Carmichael and Rich Hoffman, and daughter-in-law, Rhetta Glick; her three grandchildren, Brittnay Glick, Brooks Glick, and Katie Carmichael Catlin; her great-grandchild, Savannah Elizabeth Catlin; two stepgrandchildren, Ian Hoffman and Kira Catlin Hoffman; and Nancy's sister, Sarah Alice Green, as well as many friends and extended family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her grandson, John William Carmichael; her sister, Charlotte Weaver; and her brothers, Fred and John Hill.

Her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy Glick and Rich Hoffman, lovingly cared for her the last three years of her life. The family gives them the greatest gratitude for providing Nancy with such a loving place to live and thrive.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 4, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. that afternoon. Rev. Leslie Fix will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations go to Hospice of St. Joseph, Michigan. The address is 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.
