Melinda Sue “Mindy” Trowbridge, 61, of Commiskey, died at 9:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at King’s Daughters' Hospital in Madison.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Trowbridge Sr.; her mother, Marion Whorton of Brownstown; three daughters, Lanie Hazlewood of Lafayette, Jessie (Tony) Davis of Williamsport, and Katie Yates of Commiskey; two stepsons, Donald Trowbridge Jr. and Thomas Browning, both of Commiskey; two brothers, Richard (Cindy) Carrow of Phoenix, Ariz., and Danny (Jane) Whorton of Baltimore, Md.; three sisters, Staci Whorton of India, Cindy White of Kankakee, Ill., and Roxanne (David) Estrada of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Carrow.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ebenezer Methodist Church in Jennings County, with the Rev. Clarence Shafer officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Dupont Cemetery in Dupont.
Arrangements were made by Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County or the Lupus Foundation.
