Sharon Kay Brinker, 66, of Hope, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
Mrs. Brinker was a former employee of Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home, where she worked in the kitchen. She was a member of Hartsville Christian Church and enjoyed crocheting, bowling, picnics and playing Bingo.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until service time Friday. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Born in Columbus, Jan. 15, 1947, Mrs. Brinker was the daughter of Francis and Reva Crabtree Abel. She married Dallas L. Brinker June 6, 1971, in Columbus. He survives
Also surviving are daughters, Michelle Sorrell of Hope and Misty (Anthony) Wolfe of Columbus; a son, Joseph (Brande Jackman) Brinker of Columbus; a sister, Shirley Holcomb of Owensboro, KY; and grandchildren, Jacob Bunch, Derek Rhude of Hope, Caleb Orlich, Carson, Jolie and Colin Wolfe, and Dylan Siler, all of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
