Dale Richard Durham, 79, of Seymour, died at 4:28 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Dale retired from Cummins Engine Company where he had worked for 33 years. He was a member of East Columbus Christian Church, Columbus Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge and enjoyed air boating, fishing and NASCAR.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Michael T. Hogg officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to time of service Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society.

Born in Columbus November 23, 1933, Dale was the son of Ellis and Ruth Day Durham. He married Marcia J. Taylor September 27, 1979.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Brett Durham of North Vernon; a stepdaughter, Nikki Weddell of Seymour; a brother, Bobby (Sheila) Durham of Texas; sisters, Norma "Rosie" Allman of Columbus, Rae Marie "Sweet" (Bob) Beesley of Texas, Janet "Tootie (Walt) Pardieck of Columbus and Mary Jane "Punky" (Ron) Hooker of Columbus; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
