Nora L. Wooten, 91, of Midway Street, died at 9:45 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation.
Nora retired in 1983 from Cosco where she had worked for 34 years.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Windell Pierce officiating. Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Nora was born in Champaign, Illinois, September 20, 1921, the daughter of Otha and Sophie Simpson Yeadon.
Survivors include her children, Gwinn L. (Barbara) Wooten of Taylorsville, Hollis (Patty) Wooten of Columbus, Lavoy (Susan) Wooten of Savannah, TX, Peggy L. Sweeney of Columbus and Betty J. (Ronald) Riddell of Latonia, KY; sisters, Carrie Burton and Sophie Shephard, both of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gwinn Wooten, on July 31, 1949; brothers, Arvis and Orval Yeadon; sisters, Martha Simpson, Mae McElrory, Orene Thompson and Lola Burton; a daughter, Brenda L. Wooten; and a grandson, Tony Wooten.
