Johnny Ray Wooten, 40, of Crothersville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana.
He was born November 17, 1972, in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Allen Wooten Sr. and Betty (Turner) Wooten. He married Tabitha R. (Dixon) Wooten April 22, 2011. She survives.
He was an employee of Faurecia in Columbus, Indiana, and was a member of Broadway Church of God in Austin, Indiana, and Columbus Moose Lodge
Also surviving are sons, Blake Marshall Wright of Crothersville, Indiana, and Caleb James Wooten of Austin, Indiana; daughters, Kelli Renee Wright of Crothersville, Indiana, and Patience Nikole Wooten of Crothersville, Indiana; brothers, Allen (Paula) Wooten Jr. of Columbus, Indiana, Tanner Wooten of Smilax, Kentucky, and Kolby Wooten of Smilax, Kentucky; sisters, Autumn (Joey) Woods, Rachel (Greg) Gilbert, Faith Wooten, and Denise Wooten, all of Smilax, Kentucky.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana, with Rev. Richard Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
