Avery Ray Howard, infant daughter of Joshua D. Howard and Ashley L. Short of North Vernon, died shortly after birth Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Section 68 at Garland Brook Cemetery, with Patricia Lacey officiating.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
Avery is survived by her parents; grandparents, Shelly and Kyle Williams of Streetman, Texas, Lonnie and Melissa Short of North Vernon, and James and Tammy Howard of North Vernon; great-grandparents, Jerry and Brenda Dean of Canaan, Patricia Howard of North Vernon, Bonnie Lacey of North Vernon, and Dale and Jo Burton of North Vernon; and a great-great-grandmother, Sharon Willis of Greenwood.
