Margaret B. Hennsley, 77, of Lafayette Avenue, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Margaret retired in 1990 from Cummins Engine Company where she had worked for 18 years. She was a member of the American Legion and Women of the Moose and enjoyed sewing, camping, fishing, shooting guns and watching IU basketball.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday. Burial will be at Scipio Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Bartholomew County, June 17, 1935, Margaret was the daughter of Frank Burton Sr. and Maudie Harmon Burton. She married Kenneth L. Hennsley on July 25, 1983. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2013.
Survivors include her children, Randy Riddle, and his companion, Diane Riggs of Columbus, Allen Cox, and his companion, Chris Shoultz, of Elizabethtown, Deborah Phillips of Lexington, KY, and the granddaughter she raised as her daughter, Michelle (Scott) Gordon of Columbus; a brother, Paul Duggin of Elizabethtown; sisters, Nellie Sexton of Jennings County and Eula Jane Duggin of Salem; a great-granddaughter, Sophie Gordon; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Burton Sr.; her mother, Maudie Harmon Duggin; brothers, James Burton and Frank Burton Jr.; a sister, Alta Perdue; a daughter, Patty Palmer; a son, Kevin Cox; and a granddaughter.
