Mary Rosalyn Nolting Lanham, 84, of Tucson, AZ, died March 2, 2013, at Pueblo Springs Rehab. She had been ill for two months
A retired bookkeeper, Mrs. Lanham was a member of Tanque Verde Lutheran Church.
She was born June 26, 1928, in Columbus, IN, to the late Marcus and Elsie Nolting. She married Willis Bolte on Feb. 14, 1948, Paul Mellencamp on Jan. 8, 1950, and James Lanham in August of 1968. All of her husbands preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Rex (Marianne) Mellencamp of Vallonia and Ross (Ann) Mellencamp of Tucson, AZ; three stepchildren, James (Carolyn) Lanham of Franklin, KY, David (Gail) Lanham of Tucson, AZ, and George Lanham of Seymour; one brother, Marcus Nolting of Columbus, IN; one sister, Carol (Kenneth) Kiel of Columbus, IN; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
A private graveside service will be held Saturday, April 6, at Jonesville Lutheran Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Johnson Funeral Home in Vallonia.
