Viola M. Kaiser, 88, of Cedar Grove, Indiana, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at her residence.
She was born April 23, 1924, to Albert Singer and Pauline Telker in St. Leon, Indiana. She married Harry C. Kaiser on June 26, 1943, at St. Joseph Church in St. Leon. He survives.
Mrs. Kaiser was a homemaker, a farmer’s wife and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church.
Left to honor Viola’s memory are nine children, John (Mary Alice) Kaiser of Knightstown, IN, Stephen (Margaret) Kaiser of Lafayette, IN, Monica (Leroy) Bischoff of Brookville, IN, Regina (Al) Kaiser-Kruchten of Mission Viejo, CA, Maurice (Beth) Kaiser of Cedar Grove, David (Cindy) Kaiser of Cedar Grove, Joe (Debbie) Kaiser of West Harrison, IN, Ken (Amy) Kaiser of Columbus, IN, and Barb (David) Reed of West Harrison, IN; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Viola was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Kaiser; a great-grandson, Tristan Seals; and two brothers, Ralph and Walter Singer.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, from 4 to 8 p.m., with Rosary following visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Rev. Sean Danda, will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Cedar Grove, at 10:30 a.m., with burial following in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Holy Guardian Angel Cemetery Fund.
