Ruth Ann Vieth, 76, of Columbus, died at 9:46 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Vieth was a homemaker and partner in Act Research Company LLC. She was a bowler, a bridge player, an avid gardener and a gourmet cook.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Calling will be from 3 p.m. until service time Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Love Chapel.
Born in Tarentum, Pa., Feb. 27, 1937, Mrs. Vieth was the daughter of Jack and Ruth Rose Seel. She married Kenneth W. Vieth Jr. in Tarentum, in 1959.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Kenny (Cheryl) Vieth of Columbus; a daughter, Cassandra Pheral of Columbus; a sister, Lois (William) Bivens of Delaware, Ohio; and grandchildren, Lydia Vieth of New York City, Carter Vieth, Jonathan McMillian and Ellen Pheral, all of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John R. Seel.
